Omg. I would act like I’d been in a hotel with bedbugs before I walked back in my own house. Maybe one of those hazmat showers at the front door?

It can still be cured. Wash the plant and leaves with dish soap water and clean it with fresh water. Repeat this process twice a week for 4 weeks.
SF_Bubbles_90
Ladybugs are your best bet, just take a stick or a spray bottle with water and get rid of as much web as possible before adding the ladies.
Alternatively you could use oils but idk how your plants would react to that
Street-Awareness2816
can someone tell an uneducated person what i’m looking at.
Your parents might be needing extra attention and care? Are they elderly?
Substantial_Math_775
It’s like the miniature version of those horrible photos with the caption that’s like, “That’s not snow, it’s spider season in Australia.” Yikes!

No trying to save these for me. I would triple bag them, seal closed with duct tape, and dispose of them outdoors, even burn them perhaps.

Looks like spider season in Australia!

I saw the same at my parents house. My dad was totally unbothered and says he just rinses them off. Despite this, somehow plants always thrive at their house.
lolo-2020
What “don’t” those plants have?
the-knitting-nerd

Burn it with fire!

At this point I’d be more concerned about the parents than the plants (which are goners). If they missed this, are they missing other things? Time for a discreet walkthrough to check on the house and a gentle conversation about how things are going and how they’re feeling these days. Good luck, this might be painful. I wish you all the best.

They actually look kinda pretty with the webs and grow lights, glad it’s not mine though.
